Understand the difference between a local cosmetic preview and an item owned in your Fortnite Locker.
Start with where the change appears
An item in your Fortnite Locker belongs to your account’s inventory. A local preview changes what the utility shows on your screen while its client runs. Closing the client ends the preview.
Confirm coverage by game and item
The utility’s library covers supported finishes, outfits and knife styles. Confirm the exact game and item before buying. A preview stays outside account inventory and cannot be traded.
