Aimbot feels like it's dragging behind in Zero Build, what am I doing wrong

Long range it's fine, but the second someone starts strafing at mid range the crosshair chases them like it's on a leash. Smoothing is around 12, prediction on, FOV 90ish. Do I just lower smoothing and eat the snapping?

Your FOV is the problem before your smoothing is. 90 is huge, it'll grab the nearest body instead of the guy you're dueling

So lower FOV and then what, still dragging?

Drop FOV to like 35-45, keep smoothing where it is, then tune smoothing down in small steps. Change one thing at a time or you'll never know what fixed it

Prediction matters way more at range than people admit. It leads the target, it doesn't teleport. If it's overshooting, that's the setting to touch, not smoothing

Also check your hitbox. Chest is way less twitchy than head and at mid range the difference barely matters

Chest is a good call actually, head tracking at 80m is not doing me any favors

"like it's on a leash" is the most accurate description of bad smoothing I've read all year
